Boards Passed!!!

He did it!! He did fantastically!! Brandon did an amazing job on his boards. I am so proud of him. He studied so hard for this. He had a hard time in his pathology class, however that was his best boards score! He did really well on all sections though. We have a break from boards for a little bit. We will enjoy our fun while it lasts.

Congrats again!

Life

Nothing exciting has been happening until today. The sun came out! It was really nice. The kids and I went for walk around the golf course and they played in the yard for an hour and a half. This is what I have been waiting for, I mean it is the end of April. Of course I forgot the camera on the walk. But you already know they are cute ;) I hope all is well with everyone else.

New Church Bags

Today we had craft time. We try to crafts a couple times a month. However since I have been not feeling fantastic crafts have been in short supply. Today we made church bags. I used fabric markers and iron on appliques. After I ironed on the appliques the kids went to town with the markers. Here is there master piece.

Abagayle used pink because quote "bink is my baborite"

Jackson after hearing Abagayle said that blue was for boys so that is what he was using.

They are the perfect little size fore them. They will fit a small blank book with some crayons and a couple snacks. For Jackson his scriptures fit nicely too.

Party in Kent

We went home for a quick trip, less then 24hrs. It was Brandon's sisters 22nd birthday and our niece Cora's 1st birthday. I was nice go and visit family, my mom too. The kdis really love to go and see there uncles, they could hardly wait until Sat night. Tim and Corrina were down from Bellingham so it was great to see them too. Here are some fun pics from the night.

Cora, Aunt Jessica, and of course Jackson right where the action is :)

Tulip Festival

Saturday we went down to Woodburn with the Goodmans for the tulip festival. It was nice, the kids had a good time. They walked through the fields, played in a bounce house thing, and had a hot dog. They had some really neat old locomotives there too, of course I did not take a pic of those :(

This was the first "hot" day of the year. When I got in the car it said the outside temp was 85 degrees. No wonder I was sweating, time to get some maternity shorts and capris. I got some cute pics of the kids though, who were loving the sun.

The difference between boys and girls enjoying the tulip fields.

Indoor Camping

Over break the kids really wanted to go camping. So we brought the tent in the house and set it up in the living room. Thanks Kami for the "pump" for the air mattress. The kids were so excited. We ate ice cream and watched Alvin and The Chipmunks, it was a real camping experience. We turned the lights off at at 900 and the kids were so excited that they did not go to sleep until 1130 or so. At about 930 Brandon and I decieded to stop fighting them on going to sleep. They were so funny, in and out of the tent. I have never seen Jackson go to the bathroom so many times. Then they were pretending to star gaze. All and all it was fun. It was a sad morning when dad took the tent down.

We found a small kids tent at IKEA for 10.00 the other day. So that has been set up in the living room. They are having a blast.
